GENERAL INFORMATION

Aloe & Aura provides holistic nutrition education, wellness support, functional testing guidance, restorative bodywork, sound healing, corporate wellness, private wellness experiences, and related services.

The information provided on this website is intended for general wellness education and support. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

By using this website or booking a service, you acknowledge that you are responsible for your own health decisions and agree to consult a qualified healthcare provider regarding any medical concerns, symptoms, diagnoses, treatments, medications, or health conditions.

SCOPE OF PRACTICE

Aloe & Aura does not provide medical care, medical diagnosis, medical treatment, psychological counselling, psychotherapy, physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, or emergency care.

Services offered through Aloe & Aura may include nutrition education, lifestyle guidance, wellness recommendations, functional testing interpretation for educational purposes, Ayurvedic bodywork, lymphatic-focused care, facial therapies, sound healing, breathwork, and relaxation-based practices.

Recommendations provided are intended to support general wellness and are not a substitute for advice from a physician, nurse practitioner, registered dietitian, pharmacist, psychologist, physiotherapist, registered massage therapist, or other regulated healthcare professional.

You should not stop, change, or begin any medication, treatment plan, supplement, diet, or medical protocol without consulting your healthcare provider.

FUNCTIONAL TESTING

Functional testing may be offered as part of wellness education and personalized support.

Functional testing is not used to diagnose or treat disease. Test results are reviewed alongside your health history, symptoms, lifestyle, food patterns, and wellness goals to help guide general wellness recommendations.

You understand that functional testing may identify patterns or markers that require follow-up with a qualified healthcare provider. Aloe & Aura may recommend that you consult your physician or another regulated healthcare professional when appropriate.

Lab fees, test kits, shipping fees, and related testing costs may be separate from consultation fees unless otherwise stated.

​

Functional testing kits, lab fees, and third-party fees are non-refundable once ordered, shipped, processed, or submitted.

​

BODYWORK, SOUND HEALING, AND WELLNESS SERVICES

Restorative bodywork, Ayurvedic bodywork, manual lymphatic drainage, facial therapies, sound healing, breathwork, and related services are intended to support relaxation, stress reduction, nervous system support, general wellbeing, and body awareness.

​

These services are not medical treatment and are not a replacement for medical care, physiotherapy, registered massage therapy, counselling, or emergency support.

​

You are responsible for disclosing any relevant health conditions, injuries, allergies, pregnancy, medications, recent surgeries, medical devices, skin conditions, or other concerns before your appointment.

​

Aloe & Aura reserves the right to modify, postpone, or decline a service if it may not be appropriate based on the information provided.

BOOKING AND APPOINTMENTS

Appointments may be booked through the website, Practice Better, email, phone, or another approved booking method.

​

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and completing any required intake forms before your appointment.

If intake forms are not completed in advance, your session may be shortened, rescheduled, or cancelled.

​

Appointment times are reserved specifically for you. Please arrive on time. Late arrival may result in a shorter session, while the full appointment fee may still apply.

​

PAYMENTS

Payment is required according to the payment terms listed at the time of booking.

Prices are listed in Canadian dollars unless otherwise stated. Applicable taxes may be added where required.

Aloe & Aura reserves the right to update pricing, service descriptions, packages, and availability at any time. Pricing changes will not affect appointments that have already been confirmed unless otherwise communicated.

 

CANCELLATIONS AND RESCHEDULING

Appointment cancellations and rescheduling are subject to the terms outlined in our  Cancellation & Refund Policy.

REFUNDS

By booking a service with Aloe & Aura, you agree to the terms outlined in our Refund Policy. Please review the Refund Policy for information regarding cancellations, rescheduling, late arrivals, missed appointments, packages, events, vouchers, and refunds.  https://www.aloeandaura.ca/refund-policy

PACKAGES, PROGRAMS, AND EXPIRY DATES

Packages, prepaid sessions, and wellness programs must be used within the expiry period stated at the time of purchase.

Unused sessions may not be transferred to another person unless written approval is provided by Aloe & Aura.

​

Expired sessions, packages, or promotional offers may not be refunded, transferred, or extended unless approved in writing.

​

CORPORATE WELLNESS AND PRIVATE EXPERIENCES

Corporate wellness programs, private sound healing experiences, group sessions, retreats, and event-based services require a deposit to secure the booking.

​

Deposits are applied toward the total booking fee and may be non-refundable unless otherwise stated in the written proposal, invoice, or agreement.

​

The host or organization is responsible for providing accurate information about the group size, location, accessibility needs, timing, and event requirements.

​

For mobile bookings, the host is responsible for securing the location and covering any venue rental fees, parking fees, travel fees, or additional costs unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Final payment, cancellation terms, travel fees, and event details will be outlined in the proposal, invoice, or written agreement.

HEALTH RESPONSIBILITY AND CLIENT DISCLOSURE

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about your health history, medications, supplements, allergies, medical conditions, injuries, pregnancy, recent surgeries, or other relevant concerns.

​

You understand that withholding health information may affect the safety, suitability, or effectiveness of services.

​

You are responsible for listening to your body during and after services and for seeking medical attention if symptoms worsen or if you have any health concerns.

​

Aloe & Aura is not responsible for adverse reactions, injuries, or outcomes resulting from incomplete or inaccurate information provided by the client.

RESULTS AND OUTCOMES

Every person responds differently to nutrition, lifestyle changes, supplements, bodywork, sound healing, breathwork, functional testing, and wellness practices.

​

Aloe & Aura does not guarantee specific results, symptom improvement, health outcomes, weight changes, lab changes, or timelines.

​

Client outcomes depend on many factors, including health history, lifestyle, consistency, medical conditions, stress levels, sleep, environment, and individual circumstances.

WEBSITE CONTENT AND EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION

All content on this website, including text, images, graphics, downloads, blog posts, service descriptions, resources, and educational materials, is provided for general information and wellness education.
